EVERYBODY LOVES LAUREN

During my A level Media Studies coursework, I was challenged with a Television Documentary brief. I had many different ideas of what I could base it on, from education to political issues, but none of these ideas felt quite right. It wasn't until my teacher suggested I pick a topic I was passionate about, something closer to home, that I thought of my sister. I decided to take a camera with me on a day out with my sister and film whatever I could to capture her everyday personality. A few weeks later the result was my documentary "Everybody Loves Lauren". It took a lot of trial and error and some lost footage here and there, but I finally made a documentary I was happy with, with the help of my sister's star quality of course.

MOVING IMAGE AWARDS 2017

I was lucky enough to be nominated for best TV extract for the 2017 WJEC exam board awards, and I won!

It was a surprise considering the quality of work from the other nominees, their work was incredible!
